New arrangements by Argentinian composer Marisol Gentile of works by Steven Gerber

Argentinian composer Marisol Gentile has been commissioned to arrange several of Steven Gerber’s works for her Ensemble Rosario. None are available to order yet, but they will be soon.

Soliloquy will be published in two versions; one for alto saxophone and the other for baritone saxophone. Ignacio Oliva of Ensemble Rosario gave the first performance on June 8, 2024. Also premiered that day was his Sonatine for Flute, Soprano and Guitar and Five Canonic Duos for flute and bassoon. To be given its premiere in June this year, Spirituals for Chamber Orchestra is scored for flute, clarinet, bassoon, guitar, violin, viola, cello, and contrabass. Marisol Gentile plans to orchestrate two additional Gerber works in the future; Words for Music Perhaps and Two Lyrics of Gerard Manley Hopkins.
