Liptak’s string trio Poppies was first performed in a Society for Chamber Music Rochester concert, in celebration of the composer’s 75th birthday, on November 17, 2024. The performers included violinist Renée Jolles, violist Ryan Hardcastle, and cellist Ahrim Kim. Chamber Music Rochester has also presented Illusions for clarinet and piano, Piano Trio No. 1, and the premiere of Chaconne for string quartet in past concerts.
