
Vali was selected as composer-in-residence at the University of Toronto New Music Festival, from January 26 to February 2. Five to seven of his works are to be performed at this event: University of Toronto New Music Festival. Later this year, The Camel Bell, a commission by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, will be given its premiere on June 6.
