“Les Sept Paroles du Christ” (“The Seven Last Words of Christ”), is one of Théodore Dubois’s (1837-1924) two oratorios, and remains the composer’s most frequently performed choral work. First performed on April 19, 1867 at Paris Église de la Madeleine, the work has seven inner movements, with two outer unnumbered movements: Introduction. O vos omnes qui trasitis per viam; 1.
