Commissioned by the Lakeview Centennial High School Band in Garland, Texas, George Jones, Conductor, to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Great State of Texas (1836 – 1986). With a shouted “Yee Hah!” by the band at the end, this piece for intermediate band celebrates the state well.
