Description:

A wonderful work for a concert opener or closer. The form of the work is a fanfare followed by a rhapsody. After the main theme is established in the opening fanfare, the mood becomes quite calm while the second and third themes are announced in the lower voices. The exciting conclusion uses all three themes in counterpoint, illustrating why Mr. Cichy is becoming so popular today.
