Georges Bizet composed L’Arlésienne as incidental music to Alphonse Daudet’s play of the same name, usually translated as “The Girl from Arles.” This transcription for advanced band was made by Charles Godfrey, revised and edited by Alfred Reed and Clark McAlister. Grade 4.5, Length ca. 18′.
