A processional march with dignity and respect, For the Crown gives students the opportunity to perform meaningful music at an early stage of their careers. It is robust and melodic, yet without significant difficulty.  Largely diatonic, it has few accidentals and only one tempo change, with an optional note above the break for first clarinet.
