Regina Caeli in C Major, K. 276 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) was written ca. 1779 during the composer’s time at the Salzburg Cathedral. The third of three settings of the Marian antiphon Regina coeli (Queen of Heaven), it remains the best-known setting of the Latin Regina Caeli for Eastertide Mass. Written for four soloists, choir, and orchestra, it is a one movement work in which the soloists alternate with the full chorus.
