HAND HELD SHOTS is a suite of 5 pieces for 4 timpani by 1 player.  The work may be played in entirety, individually, or in smaller groupings of movements.  In the latter case, the order of the movements in the overall work should be maintained.  Recommended timpani sizes are 30, 28, 25, and 23 inch.
