Description:

American composer Daniel Gregory Mason (1873-1953) saw his Pastorale for the a Clarinet-Violin-Piano Trio published in 1913. Like all of his music, the work is thoroughly grounded in German Romanticism. A viola part is included as a substitute for the clarinet.
