Emanuel Ondricek (1880 – 1958) was a phenomenal violin pedagogue in the early 20th century, whose students were praised for the musical fervor and remarkable left-hand facility. Filled with his collected exercises, the purpose of this adaptation for violin is to facilitate the learning of scales and arpeggios through a combination of visual and physical memory of the fingerboard.
