The second movement of Norman Dello Joio’s larger choral work, Evocations, “Promise of Spring” can be performed with orchestral or piano accompaniment. In addition to the main chorus (SSAATTBB), an optional Young People’s Chorus, conceived for high school voices, is also available, though the parts are included in the adult mixed choral score should circumstances not permit the Young People’s Chorus. The Young People’s Choral score is available separately from the publisher.
