Description: Carmela Mackenna Subercaseaux (1879-1962) was the great-granddaughter of Chilean hero Juan Mackenna, and became both a pianist and composer in her native country. Becoming successful as both also in Europe, she is identified most with expressionism. The Visiones Chilenas is in two movements: a Scherzo and an Andante.
