Description: Construzione was composed in 1967 for a performance by the Rome Radio Orchestra. The work opens with a series of extended static sonorities derived from overtone construction. These sonorities, becoming increasingly dynamic, lead to a succession of sharply contrasted, highly inflected block events. A fluid chordal structure concludes the work.
