Description: Commissioned by the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra for its 50th anniversary and dedicated to the Orchestra, its patrons, and the music Director, Stephen C. Gunzenhauser. This MOLTO ADAGIO was later included as the third movement (Adagio lirico) of the composer’s SIXTH SYMPHONY, with some orchestration changes. Those orchestration changes are present in this edition of MOLTO ADAGIO.
