Founded in 1926, Edwin F. Kalmus is the oldest reprint publisher in the United States.  Previously located in Boca Raton, FL, the company was moved to Jacksonville in 2018, and sold to Keiser Productions Inc. in 2020.  In addition to the well-known and improved reprint catalog, new series and editions are also being developed.

Description:

Trying to alleviate a troubled marriage between his friends Joseph and Amalie, Johannes Brahms (1833-1897) rewrote a lullaby he had written for their newborn son. Later, he complemented it with another song, "Gestliches Wiegenlied", which adapts the carol "Joseph, Lieber Joseph mein", publishing them together as Opus 91. This song is here arranged for orchestra by William Ryden as VARIATIONS ON A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Instrumentation: 2.2.2.2: 4.2.3.0: Timp: Str (9.8.7.6.5 in set).
