Founded in 1926, Edwin F. Kalmus is the oldest reprint publisher in the United States.  Previously located in Boca Raton, FL, the company was moved to Jacksonville in 2018, and sold to Keiser Productions Inc. in 2020.  In addition to the well-known and improved reprint catalog, new series and editions are also being developed.

Description:

Written in 1911 and one of two suites by Gustav Holst (1874-1934) under Op. 28 written originally for military band, the Second Suite in F is considered a cornerstone of the band repertoire. This transcription for orchestra has been completed by Adam Kent. Movements: I. March, II. Song Without Words, III. Song of the Blacksmith, IV. Fantasia on the “Dargason”. Instrumentation: 2+Picc.2.2.2: 4.2.3.1: Timp.Perc(3): Str(9-8-7-6-5 in set).
