Founded in 1926, Edwin F. Kalmus is the oldest reprint publisher in the United States.  Previously located in Boca Raton, FL, the company was moved to Jacksonville in 2018, and sold to Keiser Productions Inc. in 2020.  In addition to the well-known and improved reprint catalog, new series and editions are also being developed.

Description:

Composed by Camille Saint-Sa�ns (1835-1921) around 1875, this lighter work in B minor for solo cello and orchestra was written around the same time works as his PIANO CONCERTO NO. 4 and DANCE MACABRE. Despite the potential for existing in the shadow of these great works, the ALLEGRO APPASSIONATO, Op. 43 remains popular today as a wonderful showpiece for the cello.
