Founded in 1926, Edwin F. Kalmus is the oldest reprint publisher in the United States.  Previously located in Boca Raton, FL, the company was moved to Jacksonville in 2018, and sold to Keiser Productions Inc. in 2020.  In addition to the well-known and improved reprint catalog, new series and editions are also being developed.

Description:

American composer Edward MacDowell (1860-1908) originally wrote his orchestral Suite No. 1, Op. 42 in 1891, although the original version only included four movements. In 1893, MacDowell added the 3rd movement, Im October, to settle on the final, five movement version. Movements: 1. In einem verwunschenen Walde (In a Haunted Forest); 2. Sommer-Idylle (Summer-Idyll); 3. Im October (In October); 4. Gesang der hirtin (The Shepherdess’ Song); 5. Waldgeister (Forest Spirits).
