Founded in 1926, Edwin F. Kalmus is the oldest reprint publisher in the United States.  Previously located in Boca Raton, FL, the company was moved to Jacksonville in 2018, and sold to Keiser Productions Inc. in 2020.  In addition to the well-known and improved reprint catalog, new series and editions are also being developed.

Description:

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) completed his Symphony No. 25 in G minor, K. 183/173dB in October of 1773, when the young composer was only 17 years old. One of two symphonies Mozart wrote in G minor, this one is sometimes referred to as the “Little G minor Symphony,” with the “Great G minor Symphony” reserved for his Symphony No. 40. K. 550. The first movement was famously used as the opening music for director Miloš Forman’s 1984 film Amadeus. Instrumentation: 0.2.0.2: 4.0.0.0: Str (4-4-3-3-3 in set).
