Founded in 1926, Edwin F. Kalmus is the oldest reprint publisher in the United States.  Previously located in Boca Raton, FL, the company was moved to Jacksonville in 2018, and sold to Keiser Productions Inc. in 2020.  In addition to the well-known and improved reprint catalog, new series and editions are also being developed.

Description:

This Mozart-inspired work, completed in January of 1877, was the first composition by Tchaikovsky for cello and orchestra. This version of Variations on a Rococo Theme, heavily edited by Wilhelm Fitzenhagen, to whom the work was dedicated, was the only version known for many years. An edition by Paul Tobias and A. Stogorski that is reconstructed to the original version is also available from the publisher. Instrumentation: Solo Cello: 2.2.2.2: 2.0.0.0: Str (9-8-7-6-5 in set).
