Founded in 1926, Edwin F. Kalmus is the oldest reprint publisher in the United States.  Previously located in Boca Raton, FL, the company was moved to Jacksonville in 2018, and sold to Keiser Productions Inc. in 2020.  In addition to the well-known and improved reprint catalog, new series and editions are also being developed.

Description:

Written by Jean Sibelius (1865-1957) in 1913, this cryptic tone poem premiered on March 27th of that year by the Philharmonic Society Orchestra in Helsinki, under the composer’s baton. Following that performance, Sibelius revised the harp-led work in 1914, with the new version being first performed in Helsinki again on January 9th, 1916.
