
Founded in 1926, Edwin F. Kalmus is the oldest reprint publisher in the United States. Previously located in Boca Raton, FL, the company was moved to Jacksonville in 2018, and sold to Keiser Productions Inc. in 2020. In addition to the well-known and improved reprint catalog, new series and editions are also being developed.

Description:
The only concerto written by Alexander Scriabin (1871-1915), the CONCERTO FOR PIANO in F-sharp minor, Op. 20, stands apart from other great piano concertos of the Romantic era for its introspection and refinement. Under the influence of Chopin at the age of 24, Scriabin only completed it after persistent pressure from his publisher Belyayev. Rimsky-Korsakov and Lyadov assisted him with the orchestration. The work premiered on October 23, 1897 in Odessa with the composer performing the solo part under the baton of Vasily Safonov.
