Founded in 1926, Edwin F. Kalmus is the oldest reprint publisher in the United States. Previously located in Boca Raton, FL, the company was moved to Jacksonville in 2018, and sold to Keiser Productions Inc. in 2020. In addition to the well-known and improved reprint catalog, new series and editions are also being developed.

These two short movements, arranged by Edvard Grieg for string orchestra, were selected from his “12 Melodies,” Op. 33, which were settings for voice and piano of text by Norwegian poet Aasmund Olovsson Vinje. Movements: I. Hjertesår (Herzwunden; The Wounded Heart), and II. Våren (Letzter Frühling; The Last Spring). String count of 8-8-5-5-5 included in set.
