Founded in 1926, Edwin F. Kalmus is the oldest reprint publisher in the United States.  Previously located in Boca Raton, FL, the company was moved to Jacksonville in 2018, and sold to Keiser Productions Inc. in 2020.  In addition to the well-known and improved reprint catalog, new series and editions are also being developed.

Description:

American composer Ethelbert Nevin (1862-1901) wrote A DAY IN VENICE (UN GIORNO IN VENEZIA): SUITE ROMANTIQUE, Op. 25 for piano in 1898. In four movements (1. Alba [Dawn]; 2. Gondolieri [Gondoliers]; 3. Canzone Amorosa [Love Song]; 4. Buona Notte [Good Night]), the music depicts Nevin’s impressions while in the Italian city. This version for theater orchestra was released the following year in 1999. Instrumentation: 1.1.2.1: 2.0+2.1.0: Timp.Perc(1-3): Str (9-8-7-6-5 in set).
