Description:

Schifrin’s Guitar Concerto “Sinfonia Concertante” was commissioned by the Fondo Para la Paz (The Peace Foundation) in Mexico City. The work has been recorded on two commercial releases by guitarrists Juan Carlos Laguna (Urtext) and Angel Romero (Artop-Believe Digital). Alternately known as “Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra” and “Guitar Concerto No. 1”.
