Description:

The Scherzo is a movement by Felix Mendelssohn from the incidental music to the play by William Shakespeare A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM. The play inspired Mendelssohn to compose the music because it was a childhood favorite. The brilliant transcription for violin and piano is by Willy Burmester.
