• Dubois, Pierre Max

French composer Pierre Max Dubois (1930-1995) studied with Darius Milhaud. A professor at the Paris Conservatoire, he composed a variety of instrumental and chamber works, as well as music for the stage including ballets and operas. Each of his TWELVE NEW PIECES FOR ORGAN, published in 1886, was dedicated to a prominent organist of the nineteenth or early twentieth centuries.
