Prelude in C from J. S. Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier is a beautiful arrangement that features the piano along with very simple string parts. There is an alternate violin 3 part provided for viola. Nelhybel suggests the use of keyboard instruments other than just the piano for the keyboard part. A combination of many keyboard instruments or even a harp would serve well.
