This fantasy also has solo parts printed for B-flat soprano or bass clarinet; B-flat soprano or tenor saxophone; E-flat alto clarinet or alto saxophone; and trombone, euphonium, or bassoon. A fantasy with a free style, it was composed for Leonard B. Smith, cornet soloist and longtime conductor of the Detroit Concert Band and the Blossom Festival Band of the Cleveland Orchestra. It is published here for the first time in a full score edition with corrected and full-sized parts.
