Description:

Henry Fillmore (1881-1956) is most famous for his numerous successful marches, but he also earned the title “father of the Trombone smear” as the result from his famous LASSUS TROMBONE. Andrew Balent has given the bassoons the opportunity to try and smear some notes in his arrangement of the work, titled LASSUS BASSOON for bassoon quartet.
