Description:

Thomas T. Frost has taken four of the most famous pieces from ANNA MAGDALENA NOTEBOOK to create this LITTLE SUITE for orchestra. In addition to the standard instrumentation, Frost also includes additional Clarinet parts to double the Oboe 1 and Bassoon 1 to add sonority to the sound of the wind body. Included: I. Minuet, BWV Anh.114 (transposed from the customer G Major to A; J.S. Bach); II. Musette, BWV Anh.126 (in D; J.S. Bach); III. Chorale “Bist Du Bei Mir,” BWV 508 (in D; J.S. Bach); IV. Marche, H.1 (in D; long ascribed to J.S. Bach as BWV Anh.122, it is now known to be by C.P.E. Bach).
