Duration: 4 minutes

Description: When Sammy Nestico was with the United States Air Force Band, he was asked by the Chief of Bands and Music, Colonel George S. Howard, to write a work descriptive of the Air Force’s newest plane, the F-86 Sabrejet. This jazzy, up-tempo selection captures the plane’s speed and power and portrays its vivid diving maneuvers – and swings like only Sammy Nestico can.
