Description: The last completed work by Johannes Brahms (1833-1897), Eleven Chorale Preludes, Op. 122 was composed following the death of his lifelong friend Clara Schumann. A selection of six preludes, arranged for piano by Ferruccio Busoni, is here presented in this LudwigMasters reprint edition. Included: 1. My inmost heart rejoiceth (No. 4); 2. Deck thyself out, o my soul (No. 5); 3. A rose breaks into bloom (No. 8); 4. My inmost heart doth yearn (1st version, No. 9); 5. My inmost heart doth yearn (2nd version, No. 10); 6. O world, I e’en must leave thee (No. 11).
