• Ferroud, Pierre Octave

Composed in 1921 by Pierre Octave Ferroud (1900-1936), Three Pieces is a work for unaccompanied flute. Written under the influence of his teacher Florent Schmitt, it explores some elements of the Chinese folk music style. It consists of three movements: 1. Bergère captive; 2. Jade; 3. Toan-Yan, la Fête du Double Cinq.
