Charles Tomlinson Griffes (1884-1920) wrote these settings of Three Poems, Op. 9 in 1916. These early songs by Griffes have often been difficult to obtain, so this edition is most welcome. Songs included: 1. In a Myrtle Shade (A.45, text by William Blake); 2. WaiKiki (A.46, text by Rupert Brooke); 3. Phantom (A.47, text by Arturo M. Giovannitti). Reprint edition.
