Description: SONATA NO. 2 in G Major, Op. 13 is the second of three sonatas for violin by Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg (1843-1907). Composed in 1867, soon after his marriage to Nina Hagerup, the work is dedicated to Johan S. Svendsen. It bears the unmistakable influence of Norwegian folk music.
