This collection of four poem settings was commissioned by and dedicated to the SINFONIA FOUNDATION for the Eighth Triennial Assembly of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity, Kansas City, Missouri. It can be performed with accompaniment by 10 wind players (SC283AC) (3 Clarinets in Bb, Alto Clarinet in Eb, Bass Clarinet in Bb, 3 Horns in F, Euphonium, and Tuba) or two pianos (SC283CO- also vocal parts).
