Napoli is perhaps the most famous solo by Sousa arranger and cornet virtuoso Hermann Bellstedt. Conceived as a theme and variations on a wildly popular 19th Century song, this edition for orchestra was arranged by Richard Thurston based on the famous band edition of Bellstedt’s student Frank Simon, also available from the publisher. Editions for solo trumpet and trombone with piano also available.
