The orchestration for Ladislav Kubik’s Divertimento II “Music for Nine Wind Instruments” combines two standard quintets: Wind Quintet and Brass Quintet (the F Horn, which belongs to both of these ensembles, is represented only once.) Each of the nine parts is intended for performance by one player. The composition was commissioned by the National Association of College Wind and Percussion Instructors (NACWPI).
