Lawson Lunde
Bio:Lawson Lunde (b, 1935) holds Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University, in Evanston, Illinois. He has worked as a pianist, singer, bandleader, arranger and much more in the Chicago area since 1953, and was a piano soloist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at age 13. He has been awarded the Vittorio Ricti Scholarship in composition at Chicago Musical College, and has been included in the Schwann and Musical Heritage Society catalogs as both a pianist and a composer. Lunde was also a regular panelist on the network radio-tv show “The Quiz Kids” from 1944 to 1950, serving unofficially as the “music and sports expert.”
