Carl Simpson
Bio:A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Carl Simpson studied theory and composition under Dr. James Woodard at Southern Illinois University, where he graduated cum laude in 1979. Active as a composer, arranger and editor, he has some twenty works published to date. His works have been performed by ensembles across the United States ranging from the Alton Municipal Band to Chicago Symphony Orchestra at Ravinia. Mr. Simpson is currently chief music editor for MMB Music, Inc., where he has also served as director of the Performance and Copyright departments.
