Richard Webb

Bio:

Richard S. Webb, Ph.D. earned degrees in viola performance and music education certification from Bowling Green State University and The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. After 14 years of school orchestra teaching in the Midwest, he earned a Ph.D. in Music Education from Northwestern University. Dr. Webb currently serves as an Associate Professor at the State University of New York at Fredonia. He is a published education scholar, composer-arranger, and active string clinician and conductor, working with school and festival orchestras around the United States. Dr. Webb is the director of the SUNY-Fredonia Summer Music Festival String Camp, and is a past president of the New York chapter of the American String Teachers Association (NYASTA).
