Heather Grier Blanco
Bio:Mrs. Grier-Blanco is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelors degree in Music Education. While at FSU, she studied music education with Dr. Michael Allen and viola with Dr. Pamela Ryan. Following graduation, she traveled to nineteen different countries over a period of three years as a member of a Christian music group. Since that time, she has taught orchestra in elementary, middle and high school. She taught in central California and in the Metroplex area of Dallas-Fort Worth. She currently teaches high school orchestra in Arlington, Texas. Heather has played viola since sixth grade and violin since high school. She has played with community symphonies in Florida, California and Texas, and has a small private studio. She enjoys spending time with her husband who is from Costa Rica.
