Description:
This clarinet sonata for B-flat clarinet and piano was selected for publication by Bernard Portnoy for the Indiana University Series of Clarinet Solos. Dedicated to Kathleen Jones, clarinet professor at the Conservatorio de Musica de Puerto Rico and principal clarinetist of the Orquesta Sinfonica de Puerto Rico from 1975-2021, the work was described by the composer as an Homage to Brahms. Movements: I.Fantasia II. Canzona III. Tarantella.
