A highly original, yet stylistically correct and appropriate march, The Basses Are Loaded is a tongue-in-cheek word play on a situation in our national game of baseball. As might be expected, the low instruments of the band, particularly the tubas, have much of the melodic material, making this a refreshing change in programming.
