This “Air” is the 2nd of six movements from J.S. Bach’s Orchestra Suite No. 3, BWV 1068. Originally written for 2 oboes, 3 trumpets, timpani, strings, and continuo, this arrangement for alto saxophone and piano has been transcribed by Cecil Leeson.
