Founded in 1926, Edwin F. Kalmus is the oldest reprint publisher in the United States. Previously located in Boca Raton, FL, the company was moved to Jacksonville in 2018, and sold to Keiser Productions Inc. in 2020. In addition to the well-known and improved reprint catalog, new series and editions are also being developed.

Description: One of six works by Johann Strauss II (1825-1899) featuring a zither solo, GESCHICHTEN AUS DEM WIENERWALD (TALES FROM THE VIENNA WOODS), OP. 325, was inspired by the Wienerwald, a place known to be frequented by composers such as Beethoven and Schubert. Composed in 1868, the waltz was dedicated to Prince Constantin zu Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst. It premiered on June 9 of that year at a garden party given by its dedicatee and has since become one of his most celebrated works.
