Founded in 1926, Edwin F. Kalmus is the oldest reprint publisher in the United States. Previously located in Boca Raton, FL, the company was moved to Jacksonville in 2018, and sold to Keiser Productions Inc. in 2020. In addition to the well-known and improved reprint catalog, new series and editions are also being developed.

Samuel Coleridge-Taylor (1875-1912) composed FOUR CHARACTERISTIC WALTZES, Op. 22 in 1899. Full of wonderful orchestral colors and rhythmic vitality, each of the four waltzes showcases varied scenes. Movements: 1. Valse bohémienne (evokes the spirited freedom of Bohemian life); 2. Valse rustique (offers a pastoral charm, reminiscent of rustic dances); 3. Valse de la Reine (exudes regal elegance, reflecting its title); 4. Valse mauresque (incorporates exotic motifs, reflecting Coleridge-Taylor’s interest in diverse musical cultures).
